No new Artists recently?

Have there really been no new artists since the 22nd of September? While I'm all for cutting the chaff from the wheat, it concerns me there's been no artist/band in over 10 days according to the search pages.

If it's something as simple as not having genres listed, but otherwise having music, pictures, plan, bio etc, then I think some leniancy may be in order... On the sign-up page for Artists, it doesn't appear to mention what the minimum requirements are for appearing in the search. Is it explained further on in the sign-up process?
