Is Sellaband using their own application?
I always recognize things I would do in one or another. Also many other believers would change things. Especially usability.
That brings to my mind that SAB isn't using there own application and so can't understand the things believers want.
One example: Why there is a absolutely never updated "What's New" link in the main menu instead a direct link to the forums? I think many would agree with me in this point, as the so called "Community Section" doesn't add any real value (because it's nearly updated as regularly as the "What's New".
Another example: How will you really test an application like GS, if you don't integrate it at a hot spot in the website? News will drop and no one will recognize it....
ATM there is a couple of people visiting this space regularly.

Your question is a good one and very valid indeed!
Some answers
1. SellaBand is internally build.
2. Changing "what's new" doesn't really have much priority compared to the other things we're busy with. The shop for example!
3. The test with GS is done the way it is done, because we wanted to do it with a small amount of members. Everybody who is a regular on the forum is basically a hardcore SellaBand member and especially these kind of members are the ones you want to include in such a test. If the test is a success, we'll implement GS fully and of course the form will get a more prominent position.
How we choose to do things and try to understand what believers want is a whole other issue. Though I just started here, it's obvious that in the near past things didn't go like they where supposed to go, to say the least. I can come up with all kinds of weak excuses, but nobody wants to hear those!
Fact is that we have a uncompleted SellaBand site and we need to do something about it. Besides this, internal structural changes for the development team are also necessary. Unfortunately, things don't go as quick as we like and certainly not as quick as our community would like. For now I would like to say, we're doing our best. I honestly don't believe that it can be done any quicker without the risk that stuff will bite us in a few months.
Hopefully you guys bear with us until we have SellaBand fully back on track!
All the best,
Jeroen
