When artists changes their goal at the moment, believers got 2 weeks to drop or buy new parts.
I thing it would be great, if artists could collect more than the final goal.
The idea is, to close the budget, when artists reached it. Means, if an artists reached its 30K, people can't drop parts anymore. Now the new thing. People could buy more parts within the next week. So the artist still has the chance to sell more parts and increase the final final budget.

I like the idea, however it's a bit besides the way SellaBand is working. Artists choose a budget they want to raise. More money come in handy, but then they should have signed up for more, or while funding, do a request for a higher budget.
So at this moment it's not under consideration.

Inappropriate?I think that this idea would be too confusing. It's already confusing enough with these "pending" 100% but fundraising artists, caused by a plan change - we have two of them now. A goal should be a goal, and final should be final.
